We are testing for NWEA on Monday and Wednesday mornings beginning at 9:15. Students are always encouraged to do their best, but do so while remembering that a lot of this information hasn't been covered yet. It will be covered and the scores will go UP! This week's tests are just first pieces of data so we can see all the gains/successes by spring!
This week's spelling test is Wednesday, as it will be all year.
We have a math test on Wednesday, as well! Students will bring home a study guide and their SRB (Student Resource Book) to study on Tuesday night.
Current events articles are due Thursday. Students are asked to bring one article from the newspaper, magazine, or Internet. Please write your name on the article.
Postcards: I am finally done writing a note to you on the postcards you addressed. I am not checking that your address is correct or that it is written correctly. I am sending the postcards out soon, so please look in your mailbox for the card. If you return it to me, you will receive a small surprise for the extra effort!
