I mentioned this workbook in an email today, but wanted ALL students to get this information (again since we discussed it twice in class today).
Today's math lesson was over the skills of 1.4 in the Study Skills workbook. Each student was encouraged to bring that workbook home tonight to complete that page. However, it WAS NOT an assignment. Any student that brings Lesson 1.4 page to school tomorrow and it's completed, will be in a drawing for an awesome PRIZE!
Students may also complete Study Skills 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 to be entered into the drawing as well for more chances of winning. Answers to these pages are linked to the parent letter sent by email as well as in the front of each unit in the workbook (page 4 of the parent letter). I encourage students to complete the page first and then check their work and make changes for better understanding as needed.
Another busy, but super-successful day in 5th grade!
