Time to clean out bookshelves? Make a 'clean sweep' while donating your new or gently used books to the Books for Youth program through the Department of Child Protective Services. Their goal is to collect 'Half a million books by Half time' of the Colts game on November 28, 2011.
As a class, we will work to collect 1,000 books for this cause! This is a small amount, but an overall big help for the total goal! Maybe we'll even be able to collect more! We will keep track of the number of new or gently used donated books here at school and pass them onto Mrs. Blood by Thanksgiving.
