Parents and 5th graders,
My apologies for the lack of posts to the blog this week. My grandmother has been very ill, and when I was not here, I was sitting with her. She passes away this morning, so I am sure I will be out some time at the beginning of next week. I assure you, however, that the kids will be in good hands here.
We DO NOT have any homework this weekend. All kids will bring home papers from the week, however, although there are very few. PLEASE be sure to check through your child's GAME accordion folder for Friday papers and to help keep it organized. We have a Market Day order form going home today, as well.
Starting next week, spelling contracts and test will be on Thursdays. I am sending home the spelling lists and contracts today so students that wish to get a jumpstart on the activities can do so this weekend.
