After meeting with 6th grade math teachers, we were encouraged to spruce up speed and accuracy of math skills for all students entering 6th grade next year!
Therefore, we are starting a web-based program called XtraMath to increase speed and accuracy in arthimetic for the last eight weeks of school. Your 5th grader is invited to spend a few minutes each day practicing math on the computer. Information is coming home today with your child's Friday papers. This program is completely optional at home, but I will be tracking usage here at school.
