I believe, in my 11 years of teaching elementary students, that it is very important for the students to be involved in the decisions and goals that are being discussed about them. Therefore, I'm inviting all students to attend the parent/teacher conference with their parent(s) on the scheduled date and time. I realize some conferences are during the student's special class time, so the student will need to make a decision as to whether or not to attend.
I will be sending home reminder notes with students on Thursday this week. Please look for those tomorrow.
